'Peach fuzz' in wedding flowers
The Pantone colour of the year in 2024 - Peach Fuzz, was most definitely my favourite of recent years; it really took off in the wedding world & has continued to be present throughout ‘25 weddings too!
Peach used in just the right way adds a delicate yet juicy feel to a colour palette, feminine & playful. It can take centre stage or it can be a delicate accent to soften & add warmth.
When D&M came to me with the idea of using Peach Fuzz within a bright, summery, fun feel I was naturally delighted!
The ceremony was held at a stunning church in the heart of Somerset with a reception at the nearby hill-top venue - Coombe Lodge. Coombe Lodge is the perfect venue for making a statement with colourful blooms, with it’s natural, stone walls & beautifully finished spaces.
We created a riot of juicy peach and apricot, sky blues, hot fuchsia pinks, soft blush tones, inky electric blue and creamy butter yellow — vibrant, dynamic and bursting with personality.
As it was late summer we used locally grown dahlias, zinnias, hydrangeas & cosmos, along with Dutch David Austin rose beauty - ‘Juliet”, spray roses & delphiniums. We also created a fruity tablescape with handmade candlesticks by the groom adding a meaningful & personal touch to finish.
